St. Vincent and the Grenadines

My first solo-trip: my gap year in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. I participated in a volunteer program through Richmond Vale Academy, where I learned useful skills to use in the second part of the program in Belize. I did a permaculture course, learned how to build home gardens and compost piles, and learned all about environmental issues world-wide. In addition I was able to spend some time exploring the island itself and surrounding islands of the Grenadines, I hiked up La Soufriere volcano, and learned to Scuba Dive. This sparked my passion for Marine Biology
